Sang Choy Bow, Malaysian Goat curry, Pad Sieu - all delicious. Service also very good. Highly recommended

The food was great and so many things to choose from. The atmosphere was just great. It was very busy the night we were there but it didn't diminish the service in any way. Thanks guys we had a great night.

Make sure you book you're table for out the back - what a lovely set up and atmosphere. Beautiful wooden huts with large tables. It doesn't matter what the weather as they have heaters or fans keeping you at the perfect temp! Too many good dishes to recommend my fave. Everything's so good! With generous portions, you'll be sure to need a doggy bag to take home the left overs! They do takeaway but this is worth dining out for. Thanks!

Quick phone call later and met the courteous Java Spice delivery driver at the caravan park gates. Veg Spring rolls were generous and tasty but didn't last long. Luckily backup arrived in perfectly spiced Green Veg Curry with "Tempeh in Balinese Spices" as reinforcements (this is just about the best Tempeh dish I have tried). So mouth-tinglingly terrific with perfectly cooked rice and garlic Roti to mop up any saucy remnants. We will definitely be back to dine in next time. Lucky Swan Hill and accidental travellers like us!!

They have a great selection of mocktails which is always a win! And although there are very few vegan options, we managed to find 2 meals we could eat that were vegan and they were delicious! Absolutely worth it! Would love to see some more vegan options but it was delicious and a wonderful evening regardless. The atmosphere is also so great, feels like youre in Bali and just a fantastic evening overall!

Staf... read more Java Spice exceeded our expectations. It had come highly recommended from our accommodation provider but other locals in Swan Hill also spoke highly of it. Staff were exemplary. We booked an outdoor table but on arrival thought maybe inside would be better. There were no tables left inside and staff were so apologetic (not their fault but they still owned our concerns). As soon as an indoor table was available it was offered to us although by that stage we realised outside wasn't as cold as expected. Now for the food. We recommend if you haven't been before trust the chef's recommendations on the menu. Selection is broad though with something for all tastes. Gluten free/vegan/vegetarian will all find a good range of choices not just a token dish or two. It is clear that the menu is constructed by people with a passion for good food. Finally the decor is spot on. If anything we found the online booking system a bit restrictive and it is easier to simply call and book.

Food prices are above average but they were well worth every cent. Quite a number of Malaysian and Indonesian staff who were well trained, delightfully mannered, courteous, obliging and helpful. Food was presented well and tasted absolutely tongue smacking! Yummm!! Flavours were delightful. Loved my Bangkok chilli chicken and Calamari in orange sauce. They have variety of alcohol selection including cocktails and mock-tails. Close your eyes and poke the page. You cannot go wrong. Nice desserts selection too. All in all, I was extremely satisfied with food, service, alcohol and surrounding.
