Blue Sea Fish Shop - Swan Hill

Arrived around snd wanted something quick and easy that we could eat by the river. Drove down Main Street and found this one open. Ordered flake, chips,potato cakes and a hamburger. They looked really nice but there was a strange smell. The smell I’m pretty...was the oil. The fish was so horrible I couldn’t eat it. I took a bite of a potato cake and quickly had to spit it out. It was vile. Threw them all in the bin. Waste of money. Definitely keep driving if you are looking for edible fish and chips.

I have been in the area now for I was told another Take Away had better Seafood but I actually like this place better.. I usually get a piece of Barramundi or Fish Burger or Crab Sticks which are yummy.. I have tried there...Chips, Potato Cakes, Battered Sav and Calamari which I wasn't a real fan of.. Chips I just prefer thinner crispier ones, Potato Cakes and Battered Sav just not like the same back home in Nsw.. Calamari they were very thin and overcooked.. So haven't had any of these again.. The service is always good and friendly.. This is my go to Take Away in the area.. I do recommend this place..

Awesome chips, and awesome service as well. Glad that I decided to pop in here for some takeaway because this was absolutely amazing.

Some negative reviews on this place but I found the flake and chips was great even after taking it back to my motel to eat. Ok the Asian owners dont say much but they seem to be able to cook ok so what else do...you want for takeaway.
