The Red Lion - Swale

I have dined at The Red Lion three times in the past few months. I had the bacon/cheeseburger with chips twice and fish and chips once. Both meals were delicious and generous in portion size. The dessert was also excellent. The restaurant is a charming country pub and I would definitely return in the future.

Top top class lunch with wife and grandson. Service excellent. Food was superb, spicy cheeseburger and hot sauce as good as it gets. COVID protocols all good, no concerns

This was our first meal out since lockdown, so we booked and sat outside. The pub was very well prepared with plenty of antiseptic and covid aware precautions- menus at the table, everything brought out and all disposable. The food was pub staples- burgers, pies etc, very well cooked and presented. Excellent value, friendly staff, great chips. Well worth a visit.

Had a pint of Southwold bitter from Adnams brewery, excellent pint. Cheeseburger chunky chips which we ate in the garden were spot on. Good to go back see the standard is as high as ever. Highly recommended. Proper pub serving proper food in lovely surroundings.

We had a wonderful meal in a cozy outdoor cabin with a heater. The food was delicious and the service was friendly. The pie was exceptional. This restaurant serves traditional pub food executed perfectly. I would definitely recommend it.
