Nestled in a tranquil rural setting, the Plough offers a charming dining experience with a blend of delightful cuisine and attentive service. Diners rave about the high-quality dishes, particularly the roast beef and burgers, complemented by a well-curated selection of beverages. While most guests appreciate the inviting atmosphere and hospitable staff, some have expressed disappointment with certain meals, noting inconsistencies in portion sizes and food temperature. I visited The Plough recently and found it a very enjoyable experienceFirstly the choice of drinks was very local, even the wine, which is great.

That's delicious. the Roast beef was cooked to perfection, plentiful vegetables to accompany it. my man had the plaice and he thought it was amazing. the deserts were for sticky toffe pudding with stiel ingwer eis to die, and chocolate brownie with passion. fruit sorbet. that was our first visit and we were taken back how polite the staff was. a pretty pub. a hidden gem! we can't wait to return. Thank you.

We visited the plough during the Easter holidays to lunch on a Saturday we had not planned where we had to go and booked last minute, so did not know what to expect. the first impressions from outside were good the building is beautiful and the. atmosphere inside is cozy and traditional we sat in the old Inglnook fireplace we loved! eating was excellent, the special menu is diverse and there were several possibilities that we could have gone. especially good were the beet root and apple pancakes on the starters and the rhabarb frangipane dessert. service was fantastic, the owner took the time to come and check on us several times and talk, the chef bought us the food and personally explained what we had. one of the best pubs we have ever visited and we will be back without doubt!

We really enjoy dining at this restaurant because it never fails to impress. The food is consistently delicious and the service is top-notch. Although I usually don't like attention, I was able to handle the birthday singing they surprised me with. We make a point to order a variety of dishes each time we visit in order to...

My husband and I recently stayed at this restaurant for his birthday and enjoyed drinks and dinner during our visit. The room was beautifully designed and located in a peaceful setting. Dinner at the relaxed restaurant was delicious and we were served generously. The staff were all friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They even surprised my husband with a birthday song and chocolate, which was a thoughtful touch. Although we arrived before the bar was open, the staff member happily served us. I look forward to returning one day as this was a fantastic discovery!
