And best of... read more This is a fantastic spot for delicious fish and chips. The food is always hot, served quickly, and you even get a complimentary chip while you wait. And best of all, it's never greasy.

It was my go to location after spending the evening swimming (mucking about) in the old swimming pool... read more 40 or so years ago this chippy was known as the West End. It was my go to location after spending the evening swimming (mucking about) in the old swimming pool in St.Michael's road. It was small then, but nothing could come close to their battered sausage and chips as I walked home. Jump forward to 2022, the chippy is no bigger, prices have increased, the name has changed to Ossie's but the food remains the same. It still tastes amazing and the portions are still large. Visiting Ossie's has reminded me of my youth with fond memories of all the fun and friends I had growing up. I'm not sure that any other eatery in Sittingbourne could do the same whilst serving such great food. Prices may have improved but this chippy remains in a class of it's own.

The fish was cooked to order and had the crispiest batter. We ordered medium cod and chips and the portions were very generous. We will definitely be back!
