We was so disappointed the first time trying this tea room. The owner Stephen had a massive row with his girlfriend and though her off of the premises in front of a shop full of customers. He was Swearing in front of the children too...and shoving her out, it was disgusting. And to top it off I had a long black hair running right through the middle of my Victoria sponge. This is my favorite place in Kent! Don't miss out on their delicious baked goods and perfect tea. I highly recommend stopping by when you're in the area. The owner is also lovely.
If I'm being honest I don't quite know how to review this tea room. It was like no other tea room I've been too, the food and drinks were good and sensibly priced. The Tearoom is very eclectic. Knocked a star off as covid controls were almost non existent. Staff didn't wear masks and customers came and went without being asked to wear them either.
What a lovely establishment! I had been wanting to visit for a while, and this morning I finally had the opportunity. The tea and scones were absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. The decor was charming, with walls adorned with trinkets adding a lovely touch. The staff was friendly and engaging, making my experience even more enjoyable. I will definitely be returning as it is the perfect spot to relax and unwind. I highly recommend others give this tea shop a try if they haven't already.
This charming vintage tea room is filled with fascinating artifacts and offers delicious sandwiches, toasties, and cakes, as well as cream teas and afternoon tea. My wife raved about the scones, saying they were the best she's ever had! The owner is friendly and welcoming, and the tea and coffee selection is extensive. Definitely worth a visit, we will be returning!
Have they interviewed her about the bbc about looking for it difficult to stay open due to inflation etc. I just wanted to show my support. they have a great business idea, hope they can continue there with him, I would be there every day if I wasn't 100 miles away.
