Ocean Basket Swakopmund

I had the excellent Indian food for a long time. Great value for money and service.

For the Indians in me, I would remain ideal 'if in Rome, be a Roman' and that also applies to the kitchen of the locals. But when good friends hosted me here 10 days ago this day, I promised that I would circle back here on my motorcycle just because I wanted to taste every plate that was served. The menu is not very elaborate, but brings the most lively kitchens from home.. The best part is that the spices were not very localized and that was a big hit with me... I usually avoid over spicy foods and the many types of dishes ordered were simply too good to get in such a remote place as Swakopmund!! The seat is wide and spacious with outdoor seating and the staff is absolutely friendly!!

Great experience every time I visit. Staff very well trained and always very friendly and also very attentive. Chef’s definitely know what they do. This place definitely has the best curry food in the city. The interior is pretty good. Great location! Will definitely come back! Go on!

I love Indian food!! They spice up my life. All the different flavors of all the dishes are really unique. The variety of foods on the menu is so much, I need to take a holiday to try them all out!!! Yummy!
