Boersen - Svendborg

We had dinner. The gastro pub is located in the pedestrian area of downtown Svendborg. The menu includes some nice local items. Also salads, sandwiches, and burgers are available. We chose some fish and while mine turned out to be very good, my wife unfortunately got a less well prepared fish. It was quickly resolved and she got another, which was perfect. The pub has a good list of drinks, including local beers. Service was very good and prices fair.

Visited tonight, we were asked for our covid vacation proof. After sitting with drinks for over an hour, several people arrived and led to tables without showing covid test proof.

You can have meal both out or in. Good smorebrod with salmon and some tasty snacks. As usual in DK, staff is young so dont get upset is something is in late or missing.

We were lucky to be shown this interesting bar/restaurant by a local. The beer is good but the atmosphere in the upstairs rooms gives a great introduction to older Danish TV and film for foreigners (if you have a local to explain everything. If you have seen the movie, then this pub is a MUST visit place.

We had a table outside, and enjoyed people watching, food was good and the restaurant has lots of athmosphere and history build in (we did a short walk around inside to enjoy)
