My family and I make it a point to visit Custard's Last Stand every summer, and I have noticed that they continue to improve each year. In the past two years, they have even added milk-free sorbet to their menu, which is a huge win for me! My wife has long remarked that I am incapable of passing through Long Lake without stopping at this iconic Adirondacks ice cream stand. She asserts (rightly) that I would stop here even if the ice cream were terrible (which it isn't it's great) on the strength of the name alone.
