Food was all excellent as was the service. Absolutely 100% satisfaction.

The batter didn’t survive the 4 minute journey home as it soon became soggy and limp. Judging by previous reviews, they obviously don’t change the oil as often as they should. Funny thing is, if you use clean oil the fish actually cooks quicker and the batter stays crisp! It’s not like cooking oil is expensive even if you are going through a couple of hundred litres a week! Really poor. I’ll stick to Marina Fish Bar in Stonecot Hill

Each... read more I ordered cod chips, the chips were tasteless greasy was smaller than a child’s portion. The fish was very dark, almost black where the oil needs changing. Each time I bit into it grease just ran down my chin. I threw it away in the end. This shop used to be the best chip shop for miles around now it’s just a disaster. Just read all the disappointed reviews. Never again.

The batter was terrible, the... read more I ordered haddock and chips for takeout with my daughter last night. Unfortunately, it was the worst fish and chips I've ever had. The batter was terrible, the fish was thin and flavorless, and it appeared grey. The chips were mostly small pieces. The fryer was rude to the staff and the server was slow. I used to come here for 3 years since my Nan moved here, but I won't be returning again.
