Star Express - Sutton

The food at this restaurant is consistently excellent. I have been coming here for many years and have never been disappointed. There is always a wide variety of dishes to choose from and everything is served piping hot. It is great value for the price.

I enjoyed my visit to this café, but there were a few small issues. My nephew tried the pancakes with maple syrup and found them to be unpleasant-tasting and small in size. He then ordered the kids' chicken nuggets, but they also did not meet his liking. When I jokingly mentioned this to the waitress while paying, she explained that she couldn't remove the items from the bill, which was understandable. However, a slight discount on the final price would have been appreciated. On a positive note, the chips were delicious, as was the strawberry milkshake.

Went in one Sunday ordered the roast dinners, 2 lamb 1 chicken.Fresh veg they where lovely, well worth a try. Best roast we have had in a cafe.5

If your ever passing or on a visit to St Heliers Hospital, the Star Express is clean with very friendly staff, good food at VERY reasonable prices I have just had the Lasagna, Chips and Salad and I would definitely recommend this to anyone, no skimping on portion size here
