There is always a wide variety of dishes to choose from and everything is served piping hot. It is great value for the price.

My nephew tried the pancakes with maple syrup and found them to be unpleasant-tasting and small in size. He then ordered the kids' chicken nuggets, but they also did not meet his liking. When I jokingly mentioned this to the waitress while paying, she explained that she couldn't remove the items from the bill, which was understandable. However, a slight discount on the final price would have been appreciated. On a positive note, the chips were delicious, as was the strawberry milkshake.

We ordered and received our meal and was surprised how big the plate was filled. We were both hungry so the size of meal was welcome. The fish on my wife’s’ dinner was massive and she was very happy with the freshness of the fish and how well it tasted. My own dinner Corned Beef, double egg Chips. I ended up with three eggs as one had a yoke which was too hard, so the chef gave me an extra one. I speak for both my wife and myself that the meal was big, tasted excellent and the Table Service was brilliant. We both recommend the Star Express 5 stars and wish to thank them very much for a lovely meal.

Staff lovely and food is good value. I've been going there for almost 20 years a NEVER had a bad meal. This is definitely the carlsberg of cafes
