I went past stapleton’s restaurant and saw the “under new management” sign. So I thought I would try. The food excelent, this my third time, but tonight the waitress, the young girl, was very rude!!! I was asking more water, but got reply are you finish? two times, then telling my son to put correct cuttlery if he finish eating which is not her **** business!!! and the water not come- up untill we left. I visited Stapleton’s for a small family celebration and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant is clean and cozy, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I ordered the prime rib steak for the main course, and it was cooked to perfection (medium rare) and incredibly tender. Everyone in my family chose the same dish, and we all raved about how delicious it was. This was undoubtedly the best steak I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time.
I can’t complain about my experience at this restaurant. The staff was friendly and well-informed. The chef even came over to ensure we were enjoying our meal. We had the Oyster Kirkpatrick, calamari, prime rib with bearnaise sauce, vegetables, and chips, followed by chocolate mousse for dessert. Everything was fresh, delicious, and 100% homemade (no pre-made dishes here). While the decor might be a bit dated, it has a cozy, homey atmosphere that was very enjoyable. I will definitely be back!
Home style feel and eat house style. had the house specialsteak with the jus, was a little concerned when she said it went in the many, but it was delicious, tender and a beautiful medium rare. the apfelstrudel was also quite good.
Friendly professional staff and what a steak, I had the rib eye and it just melted in my mouth. Mmmmm, ah great now im hungry...
