Kfc - Susanville

I was really disappointed with my experience. I ordered food for four people, but received only eight small pieces. The tiny half-cup portions were not enough, and the bowl of potato coleslaw was also quite small, served in a flimsy container that was difficult to manage. The drinks were usually mostly ice, and at $2.49 each, they just weren’t worth it. This was my experience at KFC in Susanville, California, and I have no intention of returning. Never again!

The food was good, and it was served promptly. We only missed having French fries, but other than that, I will definitely be returning with my family soon.

KFC has a bit of a steep price point, but the food is fantastic. The service is excellent, and the staff is very friendly. Just a heads-up, the parking lot can be quite cramped due to the heavy traffic. For a takeout dinner, you might spend around $30 to $50 per person. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 4 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Finger Lickin' Good Sauce! However, finding parking can be a challenge, although there is a free parking lot available.

We stopped for lunch after a long 7-hour drive, hoping for a comfortable break. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The employees were loudly chatting, and the lobby was a terrible mess—with trash everywhere, sauce and soda spills, and overflowing garbage bins in the lobby, parking lot, and both restrooms. A broom and dustpan were casually leaning against a table. If the health department had come in, they would likely have shut the place down. We were the only customers dining in, and there were just three drive-thru orders while we were there, so there was no reason for the lobby to be in such disarray. The chicken strips were a total waste of money and ended up being thrown out. However, my sandwich and coleslaw were good. Overall, the service was disappointing.
