Colonial Farmhouse Restaurant & Tavern

Our first visit. Glad We Stopped! We were warmly welcomed by the hostess and then our server. The menu featured American staples from which I chose the Hamburger Steak Entrée with brown gravy. It was very good. I chose the Mixed Greens, along with the Loaded Baked Potato for my Sides. The Mixed Greens suited my taste just fine. Their Loaded Baked Potato (bacon/butter/aged cheddar). All I can say is WOW! Even got to meet the owners......very interested in my dining experience. I like that. For dessert, I had the Chocolate Cake....Delicious. Everything I tasted, taste homemade. I will definite dine at this restaurant again.

1st time visit The service was superb. The portions were large for the price. I had the Shrimp Platter with baked potato and mixed green for sides. It was an excellent choice. I highly recommend the mixed greens. They were well seasoned; the flavor mixture very much suited my taste buds. For dessert, I chose the Cheese Cake with Strawberry Sauce. The sauce was a syrup with real chunk of fresh strawberries. The freshness of the strawberries was very apparent. The sauce was just right (not to thick not overly sugary). I highly recommend this restaurant.

Trying to get information on the menu..click and keep getting a house in Wayne, Pa...need an update on menu selection...I just heard about Colonial Farmhouse this week, would love to enjoy the experience, but need more information before I travel from Smithfield for lunch or dinner. I couldn't send this without a rating,so I chose the least offensive rating, since I don't know what you offer. please update your website.

Grade A !!! The finale for our Club's outing was dinner Colonial Farmhouse Restaurant. The atmosphere is pleasantly calming. We were able to carry on our conversations without competing with background music. Oh my goodness the food is amazing! I had meatloaf, real mashed potatoes/gravy with mixed greens and for dessert bread pudding. It was definitely homemade...(yummy). The portions are large and the prices very reasonable. Service was Tops! Even the Chef came out to our tables. I got to see their Banquet Rooms/w fireplaces. All I can say was Wow! I recommend keeping this place in mind for Special Events such as Wedding Receptions, etc. I will definitely be returning to try some of their other tasty-looking dishes.
