Another move and another restaurant to try. Tired hangry, my husband suggested I take a break and go out for a walk. I may have been wearing him thin. : I managed to wander around the block by our new place and found this restaurant tucked away in a strip mall. I ordered takeout, the Vlassis Platter for 2 which was delicious plentiful. While it was being prepared I enjoyed a much welcomed caesar and great conversatio... View all feedback.
What B C doesn't like about Vlassis Greek Taverna:
Less than 2 months ago I had a group luncheon here and after that visit I was happy to have found this place. After a repeat group luncheon today I now wish to retract my previous review. Today 's visit was a total letdown. Many of us had Roast Lamb. The potato (yes just half of one) was tough and nothing special, the rice was bland and the feta on my salad tasted off and sour-like. Then to top it off when our bills... View all feedback.
A Greek hidden gem in Surrey!???My husband and I love Vlassis and it 's atmosphere! There, you will find a romantic dine in setting (with take out , authentic Greek food and a very polite staff. Our favorites entrées are the bacon scallops, garlic prawns and their chicken skewers (all of them are seasoned and cooked to perfection, so flavorful! .For a main dish, my 'absolutely must try ' suggestion is their lamb chops or the roasted lamb meals (honestly, I don 't have enough words to describe it! . It comes with greek salad, authentic tzatziki sauce (real Greek style , roasted potato, fantastic Greek style rice and freshly baked pita bread.Their restaurant is located next to the Surrey City Mall, and they do have a convenient free customer 's parking area. Plus, it 's Greek owned, run by the same family for more than 40 years in the business. If you 're looking for an authentic food experience like being transported to Greece without ever leaving Canada that 's the perfect spot for it!?
Came here for a birthday dinner. Nice, spacious clean place. Food was very good. Prices reasonable.
A hidden gem in surrey. price reasonable, quality good, service on point. i got something lamb related and loved it. it was so memorable that a bad review reminded me that i have to compliment this place.
Shrimp souvlaki and Spanakopita was okay except Calamari. Calamari’s breading was terrible, hard and it taste bitter. Before it was light yellow in colour but what we had in tonight’s dinner was brown and close to burnt color. It taste different compared to previous Calamaris we had in this restaurant. Maybe they ran out of their original breading and used a store bought breading. Well I hope next time Calamari will be good as it was. One more thing I noticed that the styrofoam used as to go boxes was burnt under. It’s not good, burnt styro in food
Restaurant is out of business. Sad, it had good food and huge portions.
