Came here for breakfast on a Saturday of a long weekendThe place was surprisingly not that busy.

Had a late lunch with friends and picked this place for convenient access. Service was quite good. Food was way better than I expected. We orderd three different dishes and we were all quite happy with our selections. Good selection of beers. The only complaint was that it was quite noisy. Maybe because it was a Friday afternoon and busier day with larger groups.

The layout is a bit difficult to navigate--a narrow hallway opens into one of three sections, but if three people stop there, so doea everybody behind them. The main section tables are crowded together, but the large ection to the right is wide open--dance floor?--and the section to the left is also crowded. Service si 'passable', but barely. I waited for ten minutes before a server noticed I'd joined a table. And the place is noisy; poor acousitics.The karaoke was excellent. Hosted very ably by Liz of "Almost Famous Entertainment". Good sound equipment and some very good local singers. The food is v. good--I had a chicken.endive salad that was generous and well-prepared.I went back with two friends for a drink and some conversation. We couldn't hear ourselves think, it was so loud. In fairness, though, it was a live band night and we could hardly expect that to be conducive to conversation.
