Not in close proximity to the new residential nodes proliferating in downtown New Westminster, but worth stopping by if on a long walk or bike ride. Perhaps stop here for food after sampling the beers at Steel and Oak, a 10 minute walk away. Reminds me of Brown's Social House.Twenty-four beers on tap, more in cooler. Came on a busy Friday night and seated ourselves...waited over 30 mins for food after being passed over a few times. Hard to catch the eye of servers when they're rushing back and forth. *note: happy hour is 3-6 Mon-ThursWe ordered spicy green beans, stuffed yorkies, waffle poutine. Loved the service, warm and friendly. The food was delicious. Has an excellent organic salad with salmon, my partner had their gluten free flatbread. Both were excellent. Great food, good prices. Worth stopping by, you won't be disappointed.
I have liked this place for years. Wells were $5. Cocktails were $5.50 during the middle of the day. Its classic wood and brass. Good seating. Fireplace. Locals love this place.
Nice quiet ( inside) spot. Outside looks like old bar bur inside redone. No road noise, great staff and intestine food. Try it.
Four of us went to catch a beer and some food. The service was great and friendly and the food we all agreed on was great pub food.
Had a birthday party on Friday with about 18 people. the service was amazing! the manager/owner was so helpful and patient (split bills, sharing pitchers, etc.) each guest saved about food quality and service as well! great selection of craft bier. extremely recomended . many thanks for a great experience for us! ps: only recommended is to add an additional sign for the entrances (sandwich boards)? because many guests had a little hard time finding the entrance.
