Another fantastic experience at this restaurant! Manager Jack is truly amazing. The service is top-notch, very open and the food is delicious. Plus, Jack even remembers my name! This is definitely my preferred spot in Cloverdale. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Henry:
Went with a group of friends a couple weeks ago. It had a lot of potential but was extremely understaffed, there was only 1 bar tender on this busy Saturday night. I felt terrible for the poor guy. Also I tried about 6 different drinks, and they all tasted like straight up lime juice. I swear bar tender buddy was pouring half a cup of like juice In all the drinks, pretty disappointing. I did it for brunch. loves the breakfast potatoes! eating is pretty good. mimosa is fucking good. Maybe it doesn't bother with the waffel it's meh. the employees are attentive and fast with their drinks.
First time at the Henry Public House and I thought the food and service were as expected. Food came out in a timely fashion, and coffee was topped up frequently wheb we came for lunch. Drinks were also well made. The place is a little funky, with old arcade machines everywhere! I'd gladly return if I was in the area! If my review helped, give me a thumbs up Cheers
The Henry has done some renovating and I was pleasantly surprised. It is much more bright and clean then it used to be. The menu has options for everyone, although I found some drinks to be overpriced (but not all). The staff were great and the overall vibe of the place was friendly and relaxed with a mix of patrons in their 20s and 30s. (Saturday night) definitely not as busy as it used to be but that could be because of covid. They also added 2 new basketball games in the back and I loved that, but be aware it can be noisy if people are playing. Could be improved with some live music on weekends. (Perhaps I went on the one Saturday where nothing was happening
It was my first time having food here, and I enjoyed a cool day out on the padio. Our server was pretty good, a little slow but she got the job done. The food was good, I had the English Fish and Chips, I tried a different chip than french fries. They were like deep fried potatoe chips, but I though they were over done and very thin, wish I would've just got the regular fries...overall it was a good first time.
