Salty's Fish and Chips - Surrey

But friends dragged me here last week & its my first time in a Saltys....I have to say that the fish & chips were very good.Nothing fancy here but I was pleasantly surprised that they cooked the fish nicely,crispy outside & not a heavy batter.I will definitely try Saltys again,when its too cold to go to the beach.

My husband and I usually order for Jan and Al's - they were closed so we thought we would try Salty's. We each ordered 1 piece halibut and chips - more expensive than we thought and it was literally the size of a happy meal with small fries and no toy. The fries were dry and the fish was soggy - the service was not the best either - all around not an experience we will try again.

I was expecting a bit more from this restaurant, from what friends told me. The fish was ok, nothing bad, just ok, I would eat it again. The Fries ok...once again..nothing to write home about...but not bad. When you put mediocre and mediocre together you get average. The fired shrimp looked like the forzen ones you get from costco. The coleslaw though, stole the show, and I don't really like coleslaw, crisp juicy cabbage, a nice light sauce. All in all it wasn't bad, the prices were fair, my self personally I want a bit more, and will pay more for it.

Even though I was told my order would be ready in 15 minutes and it took 35 minutes. Even though I paid for a large tarter sauce and they forgot to include it in my take out order. The food was excellant and I will be going back again

This chain says the web site is wrong ? You check it out, find what you like and then call in the order... Then he tells you it's going to be $6.00 more ? I ask why and he says the web site inky covers a few locations, and not his ?
