I ordered food online and then called salt and pepper talked to the manager he said when you pick up food you get 10% off on pick up order. When I went to get the food the manager stated yelling n screaming stating no discount on fixed menu price. The owner is very nasty doesn't know how to talk to customers I would not recommend anyone to eat there.

We were in a part of Surrey we don't usually visit, in a strip mall area on King George Highway, across the street, more or less, from Cost Co. There were a lot of little ethnic places in this area, but we settled on this one. It is very small, maybe 10 tables overlooking a very active parking lot. We didn't have very high expectations. We ordered the shrimp dumplings ($6.99), the daily special which was lemon grass chicken w/ rice ($7.99) and the Sweet and Spicy fish ($11.99). We hoped there would be enough rice in the special that we wouldn't have to order a side dish of rice. The dumplings were pretty good, although the shrimp had been ground into a paste, rather than left whole, which I prefer. But there were 8 of them, beautifully presented, and very tasty. The chicken special and the fish arrived together, also beautifully presented. The chicken was....okay, but didn't blow me away. The rice on the other hand was fantastic - a sort of fried rice w/ veggies in it, but no soy sauce. A white fried rice, if you want to call it that. It was so good, and there was plenty for two, w/ leftovers. But the fish, .....oh my goodness - it was amazing. Sweet and spicy like it's description, also perfectly cooked, not overwhelmingly fishy, but simply delicious. Again, there were leftovers, and they were just as good today for an early lunch. We will be going back. There was only one person waiting the tables, but we weren't in a hurry, so not problem. I would order ahead if time is a factor.
