My Greek Taverna Surrey Location

It was my first and last time at this restaurant. The food quality was not what we had expected and also the order was overcharged as we had not asked for a bigger portion but were served that. The server never accepted her mistake and instead had a good long argument of not replacing our order and we ended up paying our exorbitant bill.

Ordered some food for the family through my phone app.The Lamb chops PAIDAKIA SKARAS was the worst Lamb chop I ever had,The meat was dry and completely taste less.It was so chewy,I had to chew like bubble gum.In the end I had to feed it to my dog as I could not eat this bad meat. Side order potato was too tangy. First and last time we will ever eat from this place.

You can not believe the good reviews which were accurate, at the time. There are new owners which have destroyed this wonderful establishment. The food I ordered (lasagna) was so salty that it was hard to swallow. After I paid the bill, I mentioned this to the new owner. There was no excuse for this to happen. I will never return. I had been going there for at least ten years. It was one of my favourite places to dine out.

We have been going to this restaurant for years and the food has been incredible! We ordered a meal for my husband’s birthday at the beginning of the month and it was simply terrible. We ordered prawn, chicken and lamb souvlaki, as well as calamari and it was all overcooked. The potatoes also tasted strange. I’ve been told that they changed owners at the end of last year. I tried reaching out to the owner twice. The first time nobody returned my voicemail and the second attempt she returned my call, she attempted to argue with me, said she would look into it and I’ve never heard back from her. We ordered the food last night. Last time I will order there food. Not good at all. The food took over a hour .when it got here it was ice cold. My pita was soggy it was nasty. The chicken kabob was over cooked. Gross tomatoes in the Greek salad. The hummus had a weird taste. Will NEVER order the good again. Out of 10 I would have it a 1
