This restaurant was one of the bright lights in a dismal stay at the Pacific Inn. My girlfriend and I both enjoyed our meals of chicken quesadillas and a seafood clubhouse served by a most pleasant young lady! Recommended! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Manyana Restaurant:
Met family there for a dinner while staying in the restaurant. Service was dismal, with one person covering most of the tables, but no apparent system. We were not the only disgruntled table, as we heard lots of other people complaining about the service and the food. Took a long time to order, kept getting told they'd be back. When the food did come, it was actually not too bad. But amount of time and general atmosp... View all feedback.
I had a job interview at this restaurant with a very rude woman before it closed. She was the manager and did not believe my background when I was applying for a night auditor position. I shared my security background experiences with her, but she continued to dismiss them and questioned my property management experience. Although I do have property management experience, I never used it as security was the closest role related to that field. Her dismissive attitude caused Holiday Inn to end their partnership with the hotel. I hope she lost her job because if she spoke to me in that manner, I can only imagine how she treats important clients. If I were a major client and she spoke condescendingly to me, I would not continue to do business with the company for long.
A few years ago, we visited this restaurant for a cat show. The interior has a dated feel with a charming vintage look, although it is missing the pink color scheme typically associated with retro decor.
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights recently. The front desk staff and housekeeping were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had temperature control. We enjoyed the balcony overlooking the beautiful pool. The restaurant, however, was disappointing with slow service, lukewarm food, and limited menu options. An inconvenience was that half of the pool was closed for swimming lessons from 10-3. Despite these setbacks, we would still consider returning in the future.
Worth a visit. not for profit. serves simple food (sandwiches, quiches etc). Yummy home-made soups, tomato being my fav. Comfy, cosy dining room with fireplace.
Good food, easy atmosphere, good for kids and it's a non for profit that donates back to the community
