Maharaja - Surrey

If I could give zero stars, I would. This restaurant is absolutely terrible. If you are considering having Indian food in Surrey, BC, I strongly recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

Let's start from the beginning. My family and I came to this restaurant for lunch on Saturday afternoon.

Have tried their vegetarian dishes and they are delicious as well. The quality of the food is top-notch and the service is excellent. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for great Indian food.

We had my niece's wedding in the Vancouver area. We were staying in Richmond and had catering done by Maharaja on two occasions. The first day for lunch after Shagan and the second evening dinner for sangeet. On both occasions the food was great. The chefs were excellent. Sizzling hot fresh food off the grill or tandoor. Not more than 3 minutes off the grill and into your hands. Service people were very helpful and cooperative. God bless them. Will highly recommend Maharaja and their staff.

Up side : Tasty food Avg price Good sitting Clean Plenty of parking outside Easy accessible Good for family Good presentation Down side : Prices r not cheapest as compare to other restaurants in the same vicinity . Staff not very friendly.
