Description
KFC’s Canadian outlets bring a unique twist to the beloved fast-food chain, but recent visits reveal a mixed bag of experiences. While the staff shines with friendly and upbeat service, the food quality seems inconsistent. Diners have noted that chicken pieces are often smaller and, on occasion, fattier than expected. Side dishes like fries, while decent, leave much to be desired, especially with portions that can feel meager. Notably, some patrons express disappointment over the absence of once-available menu items. Despite these shortcomings, many appreciate the clean environment, proving that while the experience may vary, customer service remains a highlight.

The staff at this restaurant are extremely friendly and polite. It is refreshing to hear a cheerful tone of voice both at the order board and window. I have noticed that many drive-thru establishments have employees who sound grumpy lately, so this was a pleasant change. This experience took place on the evening of April 13th.
The food might have been served faster, but once I finally got my meal, it was delicious. The chicken, in particular, stood out. I prefer McDonald's fries over any other restaurant's.
With all these Skip the dishes , Door dash etc, I find that the service in store has slowed down quite drastically. I don't know why, but from the time we pay for our order to the time we get it is almost 30 mins. That's no longer fast food, plus the price of food has gone.up, it's almost a luxury to eat KFC at that price.
I hadn't had KFC in a while and was disappointed to find that they didn't offer a spicy bun. The prices were typical for a fast food restaurant, but the taste somehow seemed off. It didn't have that classic KFC factor. The fries were very thin, but decent in taste. The gravy and macaroni salad were particularly delicious. The plant-based sandwich didn't impress. I think I'll give Popeyes and Mary Brown a try to see how they compare.
I have visited this KFC several times during my travels to Canada, and I have noticed that the KFC in Canada is different from the KFC in the USA. The chicken pieces at the Canadian KFC are smaller in size. However, I have found that the Canadian KFC stores are much more consistent than those in the US. My recent visit to this particular KFC was okay, but I noticed that the chicken was fattier than usual. After a long journey, I was hungry, but I was not completely satisfied with the quality of the food.
