Food is good is you know what dishes they are good at otherwise you will not like the food. Vancouver's Green lettuce is better than Surrey's.
Father's Day limited menu was terrible food , salty and uncooked food , got sick from salt , won't go back for a while ,
Thanks to some good reviews on Trip Advisor we decided to give Green Lettuce a shot and wow...are we glad we did. From the second we stepped through the front doors and were surrounded by the aromas from the kitchen to the server thanking us 3 times for coming in it was a great experience. We tried the dinner for 2 with the corn soup. All items were great. One of the things that made the experience great was the cohesive work of the serving staff. To say they were efficient would be an understatement and while they worked well as a team they were all friendly as they went about doing what needed doing. As mentioned in a different review--if you can go in off-dinner rush times you can get seated quickly (we went straight to a table at 7pm) but the tables fill fast. We don't live in the community but it was worth the drive--I would suggest that if you like flavorful food with a bit of a spicy kick Green Lettuce is well worth the drive.
Clean, friendly service, good quality food. They have great plastic cutlery, cups and plates for the kids too.
