We just moved around this area a couple months ago and i thought to try a new Chinese restaurant.We ended up ordering a combo for two people. So it has chop suey, noodles, sweet and sour pork, and two fried rolls.The food was bland and lacked seasoning I guess (umami flavour). Thats why we added a little bit of soy sauce and black pepper. Food is always good here. Prices are reasonable and always arrive to a friendly staff member.

Best Chinese restaurant in Cloverdale! Have been going there for many years and the menu is very very good. My go-to Chinese place. Dining in is usually very quiet as most people order for delivery or takeout.
This place is good. Worth a try. (May 9 2022). The food is good, the service is EXCELLENT. Some of the best customer service I’ve experienced ever. Minor issue with an order, it was corrected with sincere apologies and free soda. Above and beyond for sure! Definitely earning repeat customers.
The Golden Metal has been our go to Chinese food place for over 15 years. We have never had a bad experience. We like the owners and the service. If you want to save time, phone ahead and find out when it will be ready. Very good value for the money.
