Gj's - Surrey

I am my colleagues have made this our favorite go to ethnic restaurant. Their butter chicken is tender and flavorful, chicken pakoras are equal to the tastiest chicken nuggets you will ever have, naan bread, stuffed mushroom - there's nothing we have not enjoyed thoroughly. The owner and family staff are friendly, helpful and have even stayed after closing to complete our large order without any complaint. A definite stop for you to make if you like curries and are in the area. Don't pass it up !

We were visiting someone in hospital nearby and looking for a quick lunch of wholesome food. We had veggie biryani, gobi aloo and whole wheat roti. We took a couple of somosas to go and they smelled so amazing we ate one as soon as it cooled enough to touch. The restaurant doesn't have much seating and is very basic but the food was freshly prepared and delicious! Service was friendly and the restaurant was busy with both eat in and take out. Not to wish our relative anything bad but we hope he will be in hospital a bit longer so we have an excuse to go back to Gj's Kitchen!

I discovered the restaurant by accident. We were looking for an Indian restaurant around Landmark cinemas. GJ's was the closest so we decided to try it. Decor is very basic but food is not. Food is amazing and freshly prepared. Service is awesome and chef Gurjyot pays you a visit to ask about food. We will be back.

The food was very tasty and service was attentive and appropriate. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. The chef is willing to provide custom dishes. I will definitely visit again.

Yummy very tasty Indian food chef was very friendly highly recommended if you want no frills just good authentic food
