This restaurant was decent. The food was just ok. We were a large party of 11 and so the food was just warm when it came out. There was no one else in the restaurant so wan't like they were overly busy. The servers were friendly though and that was nice to see. View all feedback.
Since this restaurant has changed ownership the food quality has gone way down.We used to go there quite often years ago when we lived in the area and it was great every time. In late June 2015 was the final straw. We were there with my 73 year old mother and my 19 year old daughter.. My mother had ordered the beef dip which arrived with cold fries served on a bun that must have been microwaved to warmth. It was so tough she could not eat it. I took one bite of the other half and even dipped in the tasteless au jus it was inedible.I opted for the Turkey burger with cranberries and stuffing . I know . Sounds good right! Was a processed patty with mush on top.Horrible. Daughter had a small chicken breast burger that was so so . The waitress came at the end and asked how it was. My mother informed her she didnt like it and couldnt eat it. The server said . Oh Im sorry. And that was it. Went up to pay and the girl at the front asked how everything was. Explained to her the issues. She broke eye contact. Ran the card through and said have a nice day. I feel sorry for the staff as this obviously happens a lot. Oh and i noticed a sandwich board sign outside the front door saying they now offer cheap off the menu Chinese food. Nice. Good bye ABC.

I often go to this restaurant with family or friends and have always been pleased with my meal. I have a gluten-free diet and know that I can enjoy a variety of choices as they always have gluten free bakery products on hand. Tonight though, I had an unexpected pleasant surprise. I opted for the daily special which was Crab-crusted 6oz Sirloin Steak with Mushroom Demi-glaze and Grilled Asparagus and Mashed Potatoes. I was impressed with the presentation when it arrived, and upon my first taste, taken aback by such delicious flavour. The steak was done to perfection, medium rare and the grilled asparagus was perfect.I would highly recommend this restaurant and encourage everyone to try the creations of their amazing chef, Ali Nasir. Thanks Ali ... Your creation made a wonderful end to my very busy and hectic week!
Everything was so good. They missed leaving the cheese off my wife's burger but dealt with it well. The food was great and our server Romayne was AWESOME. They had a good kid's menu (including a great dessert). I had French Toast breakfast.
After my 11-year-old ran the Mini Sun Run, we were looking for a place to refuel not too far from King George Skytrain Station (by car). We found Fay's Family Restaurant right on King George Boulevard and were not disappointed: their buffet selection is pleasantly diverse, with an omelette / carving station, all the usual brunch items, plus desserts, salads, and a large selection of crudités and fresh fruit. They even have a lovely cheese platter, with real Bleu cheese, Gouda and Jalapeño Havarti, presented with dried figs, pecans and almonds. There was also fried rice and chicken-pesto pasta on offer, which I scoffed at a bit until I tasted it. Yup, I could eat this penne for brunch on a regular basis, no problem there. As I bit into my first egg Benedict, I sighed a contented "FINALLY, a brunch place which makes eggs Benedict the right way!"My son ate more sausage, bacon and freshly carved roast than I thought was humanly possible, and he loved it all.The buffet is priced accordingly (not cheap, not overpriced), but I was a bit surprised to find out that the coffee is not included (just thought I would share this here so that other customers would know in advance). However, the breakfast juices are all included. We will definitely come back on a hungry morning, knowing we will leave satisfied.
