They serve authentic Hakka Chinese d... read more As a Toronto native, I’ve enjoyed my fair share of Hakka Indian cuisine, and this family-run restaurant truly impressed me. They serve authentic Hakka Chinese dishes from India. The owner and his wife were incredibly warm and welcoming! I could see the chefs in the kitchen working tirelessly, managing what seemed to be a constant flow of orders, which is always a good sign of the demand for their food. For lunch, I ordered the chili chicken (dine-in), and it was delicious—full of flavor. The texture and presentation exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely return to try more dishes and enthusiastically recommend this lovely restaurant to my friends and family. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and thank you for the wonderful meal!

The overall experience was very disappointing, the place is small, they have about 5 to 6 tables. The service was very poor, everyone was busy handling the takeout orders that they didn't pay much attention to the people seated for dine in. They just kept empty glasses on the table and didn't offer any water nor they asked if we would like to order any drinks. They also didn't ask us about the spice level of the food. After about 20 mins, I had to request them to give water, the server got a big jug and kept it on the table and it looked so dirty from the outside. We ordered Manchow soup, veg spring roll, veg hakka chow mein and veg manchurian. Soup was very tangy (too much of soy sauce) veggies were uncooked. The veggie manchurian was so oily and the gravy had a bad taste, even the chow mein was very oily, the green peppers and carrot were raw and big uneven chunks. Over all the food didn't look very appetizing. We could barely eat half of the manchurian and chow mein, didn't even feel like taking it to go. Would not recommend this place.
