Was Anonym at De Dutch a mag?
I ate here at breakfast and we only just got because it was so busy! I ordered scrambled eggs and bacon breakfast which was delicious. Would definitely recommend for a breakfast if you're staying at a hotel nearby which doesn't offer breakfast. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about De Dutch:
This restaurant is about as far removed from anything like the Dutch restaurants as can be. And the pancakes are NOTHING like Dutch pancakes. Dutch pancakes, aka Hollandse pannekoeken are tasty, non-greasy thin pancakes and are served with bacon or apple and good Dutch syrup (stroop). This is our favorite Sunday brunch restaurant. We are there most weekends.

Comparisons to IHOP. You get what you pay for. Yes this somewhat (not hugely) more expensive than IHOP, but the food is much better. If you need to save a few bucks, sure, go to IHOP (which is often crowded). If you appreciate good food, come here. I generally spend $15 20 on a meal, which may seem a lot for a 'breakfast ' place, but I don 't regret it. And there are some higher value menu items anyway, like the Hash Pannekoek for $14. Loads of food in that one. A pannekoek with butter and syrup, and a plate of hashbrowns (with cheddar cheese, green peppers, onions, and your choice of meat sausage, Debakon, and so on) covered in Hollandaise. You won 't go hungry with that one.

My kids (2 under 5) and I had a great lunch here. The kids menu was a good price with lots of fruit and cream. They ate everything! I had the beyond meat sausage hash and it was great. The service was excellent. The place could do with an update but the food and people were good which is what matters.
