Caribbean Spoon Restaurant - Surrey

This was definitely my first and LAST visit to this place. After booking a party of +10 people for my grandmothers birthday, we are thoroughly disappointed. The service was slow slow slow, we arrived at 5pm and didn't get served until 7pm (even a simple salad took well over 2 hours!!) and the woman in the kitchen had a very nasty attitude. The only positive thing about this crappy place was the sweet server, she was so friendly. If I could rate this place negative stars I would give it a negative 5. I implore people to avoid this place, not worth the ridiculous prices and 2 hour waiting times.

The food is delicious and authentic, and the staff is extremely pleasant and friendly. I've had almost everything on the menu and have not had a bad meal yet. I love trying new foods and this is one of the best Caribbean restaurants in the lower mainland. My friend showed me the place, he's a regular and he just happens to be Jamaican born to boot. If it wasn't authentic, he'd know!

We visited this restaurant for dinner a few weeks ago. I ordered the Lamb Roti, my husband had the jerk chicken, and our daughter had the kids' curry chicken.

I tried the lamb falafel and it was seasoned perfectly. The customer service was excellent. This was one of the best meals I've had in a long time.

After discovering new cuisine this year, Caribbean restaurants like Reef and Calabash have become favorites of mine. Now, CS is another place I will definitely be returning to.
