Boston Pizza - Surrey

Upon arrival we requested a table for 6 adults and 2 children (7 & 11)Hostess advised us that there would be an automatic 15% gratuity charge added to our billWhere we have NO PROBLEM tipping servers for good service, if the tip is already included in our bill before even starting the experience, how do you know you will receive GOOD service?Then the manager came and told us that the restaurant DID NOT EVEN HAVE TO ADVISE US OF THIS RULE..........NOR did they have to post it anywhereWe did not stay to enjoy the good service and went elsewhere where we could pay the server based on their performance and NOT be forced to pay before we even ate.THIS IS GREED...........

Had lunch on last Tuesday with a friend of mine.Had to wait forever for the waitress to come and take our order.Seemed like after the food arrived the waitress was in a hurry to get our bill even though the restaurant was 30 percent occupied .Never seen that in the same franchise in guildford.

There was only one table in the bar and one table in the restaurant that were occupied. We only got one round of drinks would've been happy to have a second perhaps a third. When I went to the washroom I could smell it from the bar area. As I pushed on the door to open it I noticed the door was ridiculously sticky. It seemed to me like they wipe the entire restaurant down with the same cloth, because when my brother came back from the bathroom he complained that the men's store was the same. The food was good. We had to ask for the billAnd the kids deserts as we sat with our food and no drinks for way over 15 minutes and was never offered another round of drinks, nor did we see our waitress

Came here for a valentines dinner and was very disappointed. I ordered a small tropical chicken pizza for me and my wife to share. When the pizza arrived it look very good. But whenever i picked up any slice all the toppings fell off leaving only the sauce and bread to eat. Makes me wonder if i should have stayed home and put mayonnaise on a piece of bread and eat that instead. At least than i would know i got my moneys worth. Really even a child could probably do a better job at putting that pizza together or whatever they want to call it. Don't recommend ordering pizza from this place even though their name suggests otherwise.

Very unpublished with the delivery of boston pizza today. first, the Bouston pizza asks me for my last name when I take delivery order. what do they need the last name, it's beyond me. I didn't give it. then I find out that there is a $5 shipping cost!. for 500 meters distance, what a demolition! boston pizza says it is because they have to pay the private supplier company. never order from them again!
