Wonderful food, great service, you must try the milk pudding. Unfortunately located in one of those ugly Surrey strip malls. Downtown Vancouver this would be a top restaurant. View all feedback.

The food here is absolutely amazing! A totally different taste experience which makes us go back often. We always get a combo meal plus sides as this is a great value. Their Fereney dessert is a must try!
Typical Afghan food. Chapli kebab, qabeli pillow, flavorful skewers, all yummy stuff. My two daughters had the 'couple combo ' it had all the items combined. I had the chicken combo it had the juiciest chicken peices! The naan was delightful. It had traditional afghan decor. The lone server was quiet and efficient. The prices were a little on the higher side. And of course, the food was all halal.
This is my go to restaurant whenever we have anyone visiting from out of town. Their lamb is melt in your mouth and their kebabs are so succulent. I've tried bolani and mantu appetizers and I recommend them to all. We usually order one of the combos family combos because we absolutely love the rice that is just so fragrant and moist.
We planned an afternoon at the theatre and then dinner. Afghan Chopan won. We found the location after a circle of the parking lot and found a spot close by which was good for the 94 year old. We did not tell her where we were going because she likes meat and potatoes and fish and chips. We had a table ready for us and at 5:30 the place was already full. We ordered the Chef's special Combo for our group. The apples were a perfect start to whet our appetites. Most had the milky tea and I had the green tea. I got the pot to myself and enjoyed the whole thing. We wanted to try Dough, but they did not have any. The flavours were great, the meat was tender and tasty, The food was nicely spiced that even the less adventurous had a taste of everything. We did have a little rice left at the end, but not much. We finished the evening with a couple of shared Fereney. The server was pleasant and stopped by to make sure we had what we wanted. If you are in a rush, this is not for you. This is a place to enjoy your table mates, eat plenty of good food and talk and laugh. The place was full of families and good times. In other ward if you are looking for a quiet romantic dinner for two you have picked the wrong place. I look forward to visiting again very soon. The price was right too.
We've hit this place more than six times in the past few years, and always go there for our wedding anniversary on Nov 26th, and special occasions like our son's top school grades. Excellent food, love the meat platter, spicy ethnic dips and usually buy $100.00 order and take home food for the next few days to nibble on. Yes it is a long ways from our tri-city home but well worth it. Go there, you will be convinced.
