What Kayfersdad likes about The Sun:
A straight forward local with good value food. £6.95 for two jumbo sausages, two eggs, chips and beans is pretty remarkable these days. Tasty and hot. Ham, two eggs, chips and peas at £7.45 also good and great value. A nice pint of Doombar, in a relaxed atmosphere. Ideal for a cheap tasty no frills lunch. View all feedback. read moreThe Sun is a traditional village pub offering good value, home-cooked food with large portions. The menu is limited but well executed, with highlights like Chilli Con Carne and Sunday Roast. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, perfect for a cheap, tasty no-frills lunch. While the decor may be a bit outdated, the friendly staff and efficient service make up for it. The pub also boasts a nice beer garden and playground. Overall, The Sun is a solid choice for those looking for classic pub fare in a cozy setting.
