Mis Costillas - Surquillo

We waited for more people to come to our group, but were greeted by the Valet Park visitor at the car, who said that the restaurant closed at 10:00 in accordance with the restaurant anniversary celebration when the rest of the group arrived, we might have had time to order an appetizer, drink something, we were barley done when one of the appetizers came to our table to remind us that they were closed early. While the staff was polite, you should always put your customers first and not throw them out, it would have been better if they were closed only for the day. The food was sufficient and our waiter was efficient, but again in the rush to get 'all done' immediately. I think it might have been a nice evening, but the rush wasn't good with me.

The last time was on Sunday 7/26. The situation was different. The location I went to was on Ca. Berlin in Miraflores opposite Kumas Cafe. If you appreciate good BBQ then you need to visit this place! You have ribbed plates, chicken plates,...Sausage and a combination for 2-4 to share!! I paid S/.87 for my girlfriend and I. We have the combination #2 with an Inka Kola and Chicha Morada. It is cheap and it has live music at night. Service is one of the best in the Lima region. I would recommend this place to someone who wants to eat good BBQ that is similar to the BBQ in the states.

As from the south of the USA I know good ribs and good BBQ. We went through this hole in the wall (Miraflores location) and were very pleasantly surprised. The BBQ flavored ribs were perfectly cooked and the sauce was very... good, tasty and not too sweet. Also tried the Mexican BBQ sauce I didn't like so much. The frits were another star: I expected soggy and bland 'papapas ', but instead they were hot and crispy spicy cut that were full of taste. Fast service. A tad expensive. Two ribbed plates with frits and salad and filled water came to 76 soles. But consider the ribs of Chilis or even Tony Romas.

The BBQ flavored baby back ribs were cooked perfectly and the sauce was very good, tangy and not too sweet. Also tried the Mexican BBQ sauce which I did not like as much. The fries were another star: I was expecting soggy and bland 'papas', but instead they were hot and crispy crinkle cut fries that were full of flavor.Fast service. A tad pricey. Two plates of ribs with fries and salad and bottled water came to 76 soles. But superior to the ribs of Chilis or even Tony Romas.

While the staff was courteous, I think you should always put your clients first and not rush them to get out, it would have been better if they just closed for the day. The food was adequate and our waiter was efficient but again in a rush to get 'everything done' promptly. I think it could have been a nice evening but the rushing did not settle well with me.
