Over all a positive experience. Clean store and good customer service. Only negative was that my spare ribs were kind of dry. The rest of the food was delicious and proper. View all feedback.
What Ericka Elias doesn't like about Dickey's Barbecue Pit:
The food they served us was extremely cold, leaving a greasy taste in my mouth. When I went to complain, they offered to bring us hot food as a replacement. While they did bring us more, it lacked flavor after the disappointing experience. I won't be returning. View all feedback.
Brisket was dry, turkey was meh, fries were burnt, beans tasted like canned beans they tried to doctor up (and failed), the green beans were peppered to death, the mac and cheese was disgusting, and the fries were burnt. If you?re gonna charge $22 for a two meat plate, you better give me more than a couple slices of each and if that?s all I?m getting, it needs to taste good. I don?t see how they?re still in business. This is the second shot we?ve given this restaurant and both were extremely underwhelming and disappointing with us being out $40-$60 each time and still hungry. And to echo others, our order was just sitting on a table getting cold. Just sell the franchise if you have no standards.
Let?s start with the positives. The staff was friendly and greeted us upon arrival, however they could hardly hear us speaking over the glass panels. it was also a good and easy to access location right off the 303 and Bell. The Beef Brisket was dry and *required* sauce. Luckily there are a 3 sauces to choose from, however if the 6 plastic boxes holding the sauce they were empty so I couldn?t put any in my cup. I did ask for some and they refilled it, but by then my brisket was cold and dry to pull apart. The Macaroni and Cheese was bland and over cooked as well. The beans were nothing to write home about either, just beans. With the meal combo you do get a cool plastic yellow cup that you can bring home. I was overall disappointed and won?t be returning especially for the cost! It was like $22.
They gave the wrong order to the Uber Eats driver so he had to go back and get the right one. So our food was getting cold by the time it got here. They forgot the dinner rolls that were supposed to be in the order. The brisket was as tough as jerky. Can't believe they charge 10$ extra for that. The ribs were mostly burned. Worst BBQ I ever had in my life. I can and have made better brisket than this is my backyard.
Purchased the Old School Plate: Brisket/ Jalapeno Cheese Kielbasa, Baked Beans, Potato Salad. Good atmosphere, clean eating areas, clean bathroom, and the employees are really great five stars for them. Pure winner was the Kielbasa, great stuff. Unfortunately that was the extent of it. I'm unsure if everything comes pre packaged but I could get better baked beans at the 99c store. The potato salad was Safeway level quality and it was cold as it should be, unlike the meat on my plate. The brisket was barely warm which makes me wonder if they intend for their heated sauces to make up for the cold, dry, meat. The meat itself did have decent enough flavor but was underwealming due to the fact that it was barely warm. The sauces are okay. Nothing is spicy literally. Nothing is spicy in that restaurant. It's possible that they are catering to people that would consider mayonnaise spicy. If that's that case I can understand, for everyone else, don't let the term keep you from trying something.
They commanded the wrong guy about Eats, so he had to go back and get the right one. So our food became cold when it came here. they forgot the night-seen rolls that should be in the order. the briskete was as hard as jerky. I can't believe they charge $10 extra for it. the ribs were usually burned. bbq worst I ever had in my life. I can and have made better brisket than this is my backyard.
