You have a fairly large menu and several combination plates. Your Salsa Bar is also really good. I have the challenge of approaching the monster Caramba Burrito. This thing is HUGE and it's very good. I only ate the last bite or two and felt full until the next day. I'll return when we're back on this side of the city. My only complaint about Caramba is that they don't have a location in Tempe...
This location is great, the main manager is very nice and welcoming, always remembers my family and I. Great place for quick Mexican food at a lower price but with no sacrifice in quality. It’s also nice that they have things like gluten-free, low carb and high protein selections/suggestions. Theres good drink prices and lots of beers to choose from, and the kitchen is right up front so you can always see how clean the food prep area is. Have been going her for the last 8 years and will continue to go.
My Wife and I order from here often. Sometimes we sit and have a margarita and watch a Soccer match. It's an open atmosphere. You seat yourself and you're assigned a number for your order. Just laid back good food.
This is a great restaurant! The same woman has been cleaning the floors and tables for years, and she's incredibly nice to my kids and very friendly with my family. Every time I visit, I feel right at home. While prices have gone up over the years, the food is still fantastic. I highly recommend the tacos without salad and the hot salsa. The margaritas are also amazing. Cheers!
Caramba's is our go-to spot for that home-cooked meal feeling. We made it a point to visit Surprise at least twice a month. The portion sizes were generous, and the flavors always struck the right chord. They served the best homemade tacos, not just ground meat in a pre-made shell. Just yesterday, I shared a giant Caramba breakfast burrito with my wife. It's so large that the 15-mile drive to Surprise feels completely worthwhile. We're sad to see the sign indicating they're relocating, but we hope it happens soon—fingers crossed it's still on Bell road, west of the 303. You’d truly make our day! Goodbye for now, Caramba's, but know that you’ll always hold a special place in our hearts.
