Babbo Italian Eatery - Surprise

The manager is always cheerful and the staff here is great. I absolutely love the food here! The garlic shrimp and spring mix salad at Pizazz are fantastic.

The focaccia bread was burnt and overdone. I usually enjoy their bread, but this time it was not up to par. Overall, the rest of the meal was good.

I have ordered from this restaurant multiple times and have spent thousands of dollars here. My favorite dish is not on the menu, but in the past, I could always ask for it and they would make it for me. However, now they refuse to do so. The price for delivery through DoorDash is higher than in-store, but I would recommend dining in at the restaurant. The prices are much higher than similar restaurants like Maggiano's, and the portions are now quite small. If I am ordering Italian food to go, I would go to a different restaurant with similar prices for larger portions. I used to love Babbo, but their prices have become outrageous and the portion sizes are not shareable. I recently spent over $100 on a to-go order for two people and was disappointed to not receive any drinks. The quality of the food has also declined significantly. It seems like they are just throwing everything together and assuming customers won't notice. But we do notice.
