Contribute Feedback What Paul Richard likes about Angry Crab Shack:
The scallops were well prepared. I 'm glad I had the sauce on the side. Basically, it tasted like theater popcorn butter. Not even a hint of lemon or pepper. My wife 's boil was also well prepared, but it wasn 't until we left that she realized they hadn 't included the potatoes or corn. The atmosphere is more on the industrial side. View all feedback.
What Scarlett Baughman doesn't like about Angry Crab Shack:
The crabcake sandwich I always have used to be the best but they changed it and it's a just prepackaged pattie, it honestly tastes like everything was blended in a blender. It's the main reason why I go here is for that and it's very disappointing, sadly I won't be going back here, unless they change it back, but they probably won't. The sandwich is $20. Also I'm always waiting to be helped with. View all feedback.
160$ for 2 people, 2 drinks, i suppose if you are from here you dont know any better you think its good. I know why its called the ANGRY CRAB,, CAUSE YOU ANGRY WHEN YOU LEAVE.. IM GLAD I WENT.. THAT WAY I WILL NEVER GO AGAIN.
The majority of the menu is NOT crab... ? pretty disappointing. If you want to eat from a wet plastic bag or out of a basket, then this is your place, I guess. The decor is nice. It's clean. We weren't ignored, but our waitress was really pushy when I was slow to order. Sorry, I just kept thinking this menu sucks. Consider changing your name to Angry shrimp? ? It's also so full of transplants I felt like I was at Sky Harbor. Got to hear every travel detail of loud mouth soup Florida guy behind us. It's very loud in there. Everyone is seated relatively close together and it echoes. We just wanted to smash some crab legs. Nope. Next time we will go to Joe's or LA
The atmosphere was cool, and it reminds me of living in Texas. There were no issues with service. They were attentive and helpful. Drinks were awesome, hurricane and tongue groove. T G was a bit on the sweet side, but that's right up the wife's alley of drinks, but we shared both because they were both delicious. Though, $12 for the size seemed a bit much. Cheese burger was worth it, but 2.0 lbs of crawfish could've been better. It seems the crawfish are cooked, placed in a double bag, and then the sauce is added. The bag and shells have some flavor, but the crawfish were really bland. I'm not sure if that's what they actually did, but it seems like it. Maybe if they cooked the crawfish with the selected sauce, they would've actually taste like the sauce. After eating there, I've been told by others that these places are a hit or miss, and unfortunately, this lunch was a miss flavor-wise. Also, I'm not sure if this is a health code issue or is standard in places like this, but as soon as the seafood got to the table, so did the flies. The whole time we were eating, they were too. If we were outside, I wouldn't mention this as it would be expected. But dining inside with flies all around landing us and our food was not a fun experience.
Our family went here for lunch today. It was a very good experience. The food was great and the staff was friendly and made us feel welcomed.
The food was excellent however we went with a party of 8 granted we were doing separate checks which I told the waiter up front but he didn't separate the checks til the end forcing an 18% gratuity added which he definitely did not deserve since I had to get up from my seat 7 times and ask him for something for the table because we never saw him I don't think the gratuity should be allowed it seems if they know they are getting it they do a terrible job so excellent food awful service if I'm paying $216 fir dinner I better not have to get up and ask u for anything especially 7 times! I don't think we will go back again.
