This place is great! I went with a group of ladies and everyone enjoyed their food. I loved the French onion soup. Great prices too. Kid-friendliness: This is in an over 55 community so not really child friendly View all feedback.
What Jonney Albert doesn't like about Angela's Kitchen:
Very good service ? But unfortunately the fish and chips. Was NOT good! The fish was off. Very mushy fish that left a bad taste. Then when I went to wash the bad fish down with the Pierre water it was FLAT no carbonation. The frys were very good. I was very disappointed. Update03-16-23 went for earlier dinner. We have been dining at at Angela’s for more than 2 years now. I love the atmosphere and convenience, but lately I don’t appreciate the way we’ve been treated. The last couple of times we have been treated less than professionally by the male bartenders. While the gals run around trying to keep up with the inside and outside dining, the male bartenders only come out of their “lair” when they feel like it. I waited more than 30 minutes to have my table cleared by our over worked waitress (who is amazing) so I ended up bussing out dishes myself (this isn’t the first time). Then when we wanted the blinds lowered because of the sun, the male bartenders said “what do you need” and “let me see if I can find someone to do that”. I’m pretty sure all the employees know how to lower the blinds. I don’t think it’s fair that the females run around trying to wait tables inside and out while the males act like they’re so busy they can’t help anyone but the restaurant. I’m glad that they’re busy even thought a lot of the snow birds have left, but that doesn’t mean that some get to “relax” while others bust their butts.
Finally found a place I'm certain guests will enjoy. Went twice and will always choose Angela's Kitchen as my place of certainty for excellent food, interesting menu, good prices, fantastic attentive service, with outside eating providing a pleasant atmosphere. If you have not tried Angela's Kitchen and find frustration with the options in Surprise, AZ; I assure you Angela's Kitchen will cure your frustration and you also will be confident to bring your guests. Oh yeah they forget my wife's salad. It's too bad. I won't be back.
The stroganoff was very greasy but the meatloaf was delicious.
The food was really good. The bread was way too sick for the sandwiches, made it hard to eat.
