Jetty Shack - Surfside Beach

We really enjoyed our visit here. The bear was ice cold, and both the food and service were awesome. Hubby had the philly cheesesteak with onion rings and I had the steakhouse burger with fries. We also got the fried cheese sticks and jalapeno poppers and they were great. We will definitely be back when we visit Freeport again.

Best. Burger. Ever. This place is frozen in time. Loved that we got to get some great food just off the beach to take a break for a little while. Burgers are homemade and huge and yummy appetizers also.

This place is a tiny little, one room hole in the wall. I did not have high expectations. But, I loved this place! MJ was the nicest ever! The food was very good, nothing fancy, and really reasonably priced. They had a few locals in there, chatting it up. Such a cute little gem of a place. Highly recommend!

Place smells of grease and burnt food, service was not so good was greeted with yall sit anywhere not a hi or welcome, waitress couldn't do 2 things at once, BLT bacon was so overcooked and dry, they serve everyone at the table at different times, never was asked if we wanted refills, won't be back

If you come to the island and want true Surfside flavor, come to the Shack. They have really good food, a locals' hangout, and folks are always welcoming even if you get a sideways glance as you walk in they treat you like family.
