Apparently this restaurant has closed. That stinks because it was a very good place although the atmosphere was that of, well, a fish market. But we went there every trip to Myrtle Beach. View all feedback.
Great seafood. Owners are present loud and proud of their place. Simply place with great food.
It seems this restaurant has closed down, which is a shame because it was really quite good. The atmosphere was reminiscent of a fish market, to say the least. Nonetheless, we made it a point to visit every time we went to Myrtle Beach.
The prices were much higher than I anticipated, but the quality of the food was outstanding. I dined with my brother and we started with the seafood nachos as an appetizer. For my main course, I ordered the flounder basket, and he chose the oyster basket. My dish featured a large piece of beautifully fried flounder accompanied by a generous serving of fries, while his included around eight fried oysters and a similar amount of fries. I believe their cocktail sauce is made in-house, and it’s among the best I’ve ever tasted. I highly recommend the seafood nachos; they are smothered in delicious queso, which also makes for a great dipping sauce for the fries. Overall, while it may not fit my budget, if you’re not as frugal as I am, you’ll likely find it worth every penny!
The service is outstanding! However, I would appreciate it if the woman at the counter would wear gloves when handling my fish selection, as she has done this twice now.
I found everyone I spoke with, including the owners, to be incredibly friendly and helpful. The shrimp and flounder I brought home from vacation were of the highest quality! We also had lunch, and the po' boy was one of the best I've ever tasted!
