Fables - Surfers Paradise (QLD)

This is a really nice restaurant with great decor. However, the service was a bit slow; they don’t serve customers in order. We were among the first to be seated and finished our meals before we received our drinks, while others who arrived after us got their drinks before their food. The food was decent, but I've been to other buffets that offer a better experience for the same price.

I took advantage of the DIMMI promotion, which offered 50% off the food bill, to enjoy a seafood buffet at this restaurant located inside the Manta Legend Hotel. To be honest, the selection of food wasn't as extensive compared to competitors like QT or Sheraton Mirage. However, the dining experience was remarkable, thanks to the attentive service and comfortable ambiance. The standout dishes of the evening were the mussels and prawn salad, as well as the desserts. The sweet, juicy freshness of the mussels paired perfectly with the tangy salad dressings. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the desserts were, especially for a buffet setting. I would definitely return, even at full price.

Highly recommanded. I've been to this place twice : breaky and dinner. Both were sensational : tasty food and diverse. The venue is great as well.

Has the buffet breakfast for $29 (one of the cheapest buffet breakfasts in Surfers). It was surprisingly good. The truffle eggs and yogurt chia were delicious. The ambience is ok. Overall, worth it!

The breakfast here is absolutely stunning! It’s an all-you-can-eat spread, and everything is so fresh and delicious. We will definitely return on our next coastal getaway. I highly recommend it!
