I have been a patron of Little Sumos since it first opened. It was the first place I ever tried sushi and still remains the best. Last night, my husband tried it for the first time and was not disappointed. The presentation of the sushi is beautiful and the flavors are even better. I'm a person who likes to eat Poke. The waiting time for the two Poke Bowls I ordered was over 25 minutes. The amount of food is really small (about half in a small bowl) and at a glance, the tuna that is not fresh was so disgusting that I almost vomit while eating it because of the non-fresh fish smell. The sweet potato tempura is a must-try and absolutely life-changing. It typically costs around $6 per roll, but it's worth every penny.

The fresh, beautiful, and delicious fish at this restaurant is not the only highlight. The blend of flavors, while still keeping it simple, sets it apart as truly exceptional. If you have any interest in sushi, this is a must-try.
My boyfriend and I love poke bowls and we were looking for something light on our way off the island, so we decided to try this. We made it obvious it was our first time in there and the staff wasn't very helpful with ordering. I got the classic poke bowl and it was pretty tasteless. Seemed like a couple drops of sauce was in the bottom with the rice, came with wasabi and ginger which wasn't stated (I would chose to not get those personally) topping portions were awful, I had barely even half of half an avocado and 4 thin slices of cucumber. Will not be returning, was very disappointed for the price point.
This is hands down the best sushi on LBI. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a perfect 5 rating.
