We celebrated my mom's 85th birthday with her group of close friends, and it was nothing short of spectacular! Debra handled every little detail of the arrangements flawlessly. The chef, Francis, provided us with the most exquisite dining experience... we loved every single dish! The strawberry shortcake birthday cake was a masterpiece. Our server Brendan was fantastic: personable and paid close attention to each per... View all feedback.
What Chris A doesn't like about A Little Bite Of Italy:
The three stars are the the servers and the Chef. Service was top notch and food was amazing..but..Deb!..deb..deb..Deb. This place would be 5 stars if and please learn those soft skills. Let your staff and Chef lead this establishment. Before you judge my review just scroll... View all feedback.
Beautiful adult atmosphere, delicious food. This evaluation is long overdue. We enjoyed a nice, cozy dinner with another couple last autumn. We all found something we would enjoy in the choices from the Prix Fixe menu. The preparation showed a real care and was delicious. The hostess/owners was friendly and gracious, both for us and for the other diners, even for a couple arriving later that came shortly before the conclusion. They just arrived on the island of NY and hoped to eat before they drove to their house in Barnegat Light. Although they were in the process of decommissioning, they fixed something special and sent them on their way. That wouldn't be my first choice if I had my big daughter on the weekend. They do not emit Crayons and color sheets. They are something special and different. But if you are looking for beautifully prepared food and an adult ambience, I would try this restaurant. I think it is a beautiful small key bridge between the exorbitant expensive La Spiaggia's and Raimondo's and the many inexpensive restaurants on the island.
The place smells delicious! The pizza was amazing and the gentleman at the switch was very polite
Very True. It truly is a little bite of Italy. They have cheeses, drinks, pastas, and sooooo much more. The pizza is nothing great though.
The best dinner I had at LBI in 27 years. Everyone knows A Little Bite Of Italy for his wonderful selection of deli meat and imported cheese. Less people know the French cuisine served in the restaurant next to the Deli. Chef Fransis and his powerful staff took my family on a gastronomic Romp through France. Shock-resistant appetizers such as foie grass, escargot and grilled squid have thrown us away. Delicious! Entrees included entire Branzino, Lake Bass, Ente, Hummer Ravioli and Boulibese were second to none. The quality of food and service levels compares and surpasses everything I had in Manhattan, Las Vegas or the Caribbean. All right. Chef Fransis is an artist who understands food. He has impeccable technology and a true passion for what he serves. His food has soul and gave my family a dinner we will never forget. If you love food, book a reservation before the secret is out.
Solid, but expensive. A real Italian deli with great food, but definitely expensive. For lunch, the Italian sandwich is the best in the house, although the bread is rather hard. Having ordered catering, and while it is expensive again, the chicken marsala is especially fantastic.
