I have ordered from this restaurant twice this month using the app, and both times my food was not ready when I arrived for pickup. I placed my order well in advance, over an hour before picking up. Last night, they informed me that they were only preparing the orders once the online orders started coming in, which seems like a poorly managed system.
I visited a Subway today to grab a sandwich and the female employee working there quickly informed me she was sick. When I questioned why she was there, she explained that she was forced to come in because no one else would. I found this situation to be very unfair. Despite her efforts to maintain a smile, it was clear she was struggling and on the verge of tears. She appeared unwell and clearly in distress. I was shocked that the restaurant would allow someone who was sick to handle food. Despite her condition, she still managed to make my sandwich, which turned out to be decent. Considering the circumstances, she did a good job.
The staff at this restaurant never seems to answer the phone correctly, and even when they do pick up, they are often on their phones in the back room. I have driven by numerous times and called with no answer, despite there being no customers in sight. Service for takeout dinner is lacking.
I recently visited this Subway and encountered Angie, the employee working there. She was yelling and complaining about being at work, and appeared to be very rude to both customers and coworkers. The negative atmosphere she created makes me hesitant to return. She also spent a lot of time on her phone. Overall, the service was for takeout during lunch, with a price range of $10-20 per person.
