What Jasmine IVANNA Espy doesn't like about Mama Pizza:
I purchased the chicken tikka pizza and ate two slices. The taste was subpar and nothing to write home about but what got me is that a little over an hour later I had stomach issues. I’ll spare yall with the details but I’m guessing it was food poisoning. I threw away the rest of the pizza and warned my family not to eat it. Won’t be back. View all feedback.
The owner was so kind to my partner and I’ve heard from other people that he treated them phenomenally. He really just goes above and beyond. The pizza here is probably the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. The samosa pizza is something I dream about, and the potato chutney pizza was also incredible!
Good quality and very tasty pizza. The crust is great. Many options. Love downtown Ypsi
Agree with some of the other reviewers on the slight doughiness of the crust, but the flavor profiles of their specialty make up for it! Normally I like at least 1 meat on my za but after having The Big Dill the Hot Hawaiian, I may never need a meat on my ever again! Thanks Mama 's!
We love Mama Pizza! It's our go-to pizza place. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and kind. We always have a wonderful experience whenever we go in. The owner creates amazing pizza combinations that always taste delicious (the flavors never cease to amaze me). But, if you prefer traditional flavors, those are incredibly delicious as well. We typically order the Chicken Tiki Masala pizza, though it's always hard to choose since there are so many tasty options. Pizza options aren't limited to savory flavors either, if you're looking for something sweet, the PBJ Detroit or Cheesecake pizzas are so delicious.
First time trying and I have to admit, probably the best pizzas in town. It's been awhile since we've had some good pizza in Ypsi. Crispy crust, no flop, nice amount of cheese, plus only 8 bucks. Within walking distance of EMU to have for a tailgate or a Sunday Lions game. Will have to try one of the specialty pizzas next time.
