It was New Year's holiday. I noticed that the sea was beautiful and the menu at the restaurant looked delicious. There were "No camping" signs everywhere. There is a campground nearby, so let's be careful not to cause any inconvenience.

This place is worth visiting, even though it's quite far. You cross the Suo Ohashi Bridge and drive for about 20 minutes. It's a straight road so you shouldn't get lost. There is a roadside station on the left hand side. The parking lot is fairly large, but most people park in front of the building, so I recommend parking in the back where there is also parking space available. There were a good number of people visiting, including food trucks, local seafood restaurants, and shops selling local products. They also have ice cream with flavors related to local specialties like citrus fruits, which kids will love. There was a sign offering a discount of 50 yen for motorcyclists under certain conditions. The shop selling local products had a variety of citrus juices, seafood, and snacks. If you go to the coast, there are islands scattered around, including one that can only be reached on foot during low tide, as shown in the photos. When I went, it was low tide and people were walking to the island. It's also a nice place to visit for a drive.

Located at the Michinoeki on Oshima, a town known for its citrus cultivation, this place offers a variety of citrus fruits for sale, including oranges. They also have a wide selection of processed goods, souvenirs, and seafood. Additionally, there is a unique Cambodian restaurant and a beautiful seafood restaurant where you can enjoy the abundance of the sea.

はじめて訪れました。天気も良く、空は青く、海も青く澄んで綺麗でした。 食事は別のところで済ませていたので、みかんのソフトクリームを食べてみましたが、アッサリとしている割には甘味もあり、大変美味しかった。 干潮の時だったので、隣接している島まで歩いて渡っている人も見かけました。 きっと夏場には多くの方が来られるんでしょうね。

周防大島に来たときに寄ります。地元物産の販売所はバリエーションも豊かです。 乾燥エビやちりめん、デベラなどもあります。 入口近くのソフトクリーム店にはみかんソフトがあり美味しいのでお試しください。 二階にレストランがあり海鮮メニューが食べれます。 また、二階の展望フロアからの景色も楽しめますので、二階にも上がってくださいね。
