Sea Trail Resort Villas - Sunset Beach

The club villas were not owned privately, so not really updated. For example, the stove is a model from the east 80’s However they were clean throughout. I can usually sleep anywhere, but the beds were so hard that my neck hurt for 3 days. My wife got up in the middle of the night and slept on the couch. We ended up leaving the night before check out day (around 10pm) because we’d rather sleep at home. This villa is upstairs, so keep that in mind. Rooms: Room needs serious upgrades, including bed, stove, refrigerator, etc. paint was flaking off the walls in the bathroom. Rooms: 2 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet

So they're are a number of condo developments here at sea trails. We had a great experience in previous stays which apparently are NOT party of the villas resort. It was awesome The actual sea trail resort villas was much much less pleasant. First you have to use their pool at 20$ a day. The pool is run down, work dirty chairs only 3 tables and even a pool ladder that was out of service. They Blair music as of you were at a club. You can't bring your own food or drink because they have an attached restaurant. Oh and they are closed on Mon and Tues. Which we didn't know. We chose this weekend to avoid the mad confusion of labor day. The pool is a big part of our vacation. With the negatives (for us) of this place I know for sure we won't be back. Let me put it this way. For s quiet time of year, were listening to music a can stand and can't escape and that is the best part as the constant drone of the lawn care crews and their blowers just about drown out the horribly loud music. Ill never ever be back to this place and encourage you to find other accommodations. Rooms: 3 Service: 3 Location: 3

Villa was very spacious, with all of the amenities of home. Wife loved it and has already talked about coming back. Rooms: Large villa, lots of room for just 2 or even 4 people Nearby activities: Golf, beach, shopping, dining, lots to do within walking distance, and even more to do with-in a short drive. Safety: The entire area seemed safe to us. We walked quite a bit while there and never had any issues, everyone was friendly that we encountered. Walkability: Lots of places to walk around the resort. Shops nearby. Beach would be a good hike but do-able Food drinks: Only used the on-site restaurant (House's Place) once for our included buffet breakfast (part of the golf package we booked), and food was great. Had a lovely time staying a Sea Trails. There was a little bit of an issue with our original condo and they had to move our rental before we arrived. But the staff at Sea Trails were helpful about getting us switched and we had a lovely time.
