I’m updating this review to share my latest experience. I've been a regular at Maverick's for the past three years, and it continues to impress me. My husband and I visited this morning, and the beach breakfast—consisting of two eggs, two slices of toast, red potatoes, and your choice of a sausage patty or bacon—was fantastic. Fantastic breakfast and coffee available exclusively on the island. The staff and owner are very friendly.
One of my favorite to bike to for coffee and sit in the swings across the road at the park!
If you are anywhere near Sunset Beach, you need to stop by. Excellent staff, excellent service, friendly environment, excellent coffee...it is worth the drive.
It is a great find. Cozy atmosphere and yummy food.
A gem at the beach! Fresh baked goodies and superb coffee. 2 baristas and 2 behind counter, all friendly and attentive.
